This was by far the most amazing experience we had during our trip. We took our 5 year old daughter on the half day rafting trip and could not be more happy. Our tour guide Joe aka bananas was phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about how he ensured we were all safe and knew what to do. He was charming, entertaining, and hilarious! He went above and beyond our expectations. By the end of the tour our 5 year old was asking to do it again!!! We had to pay $12 extra for the wet suites and it was totally worth it. The ride on the bus back to the main site was super fun. The tour guides kept everyone safe and entertained with their red light jokes! MD was hilarious and very clear with her instructions prior to departure. Will definitely be doing this again when in Colorado!

Last summer our family of 6, including 4 girls ages 4, 6, 8, and 10, had a great time on the Lower Animas with our Power-Girl-Guide Lauren. We had such a great time that we took 12 family members ages 5-73 on a Lower Animas trip last week. Mikie was well organized in booking our large group, and our guides, Joe and Parker, received glowing reviews from all ages on the trip. We were impressed with Joe's leadership as the Trip Lead and his sense of humor with our yellow-helmeted young ducklings. The adults (and kids) on Parker's raft were impressed with his surfing skills downstream of Smelter, especially given that this was his first summer of guiding. Golden Oars to Lauren, Joe, and Parker! Thank you for great summer family times!
