Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

We took the level 3 rafting. I was very enjoyable. Had a 6 yr old with us, and it was fine. Got a little wet towards the end. Our guide Dylan, was very good, and we navigated through the rock w/o getting stuck, with of course our paddling help ;^)

This was such a fun adventure for our family. Richard was a great guide who kept us up right and in our boats the entire way. It’s not a real high adventure ride for thrill seekers but was perfect for our kids who have never rafted before. The length was just perfect too. They were tired.
