If you're new to white water rafting trips, no worries, as you have four miles of relatively calm water to learn the paddle commands and how to paddle effectively as a team. Along the way there are incredible views into Glacier National Park's dramatic terrain.

Once you get to John Stevens Canyon the river picks up speed and your adventure really begins. You'll need all of that practice from upstream to execute the commands in the white water. With rapids like Bonecrusher, Jaws and the Notch (to name a few) your crew is sure to have an exciting time.

I experienced my first whitewater trip ever this past weekend. Thinking I was having an afternoon of the scenic run, it ended up being a whitewater trip. Sensing the panic I was experiencing, Dillon was able to talk me down from the ledge and high five me as I was loading the bus. My guide happen to end up being Nick. What a great young man. He made the rafting experience one to remember. I will definitely be taking the trip again.

This was a top notch experience. All equipment is supplied (PFDs, along with optional wetsuits and booties). Helmets are not required by this company. Travel to and from the base is supplied. The river has some wild rapids but nothing so serious as to endanger anyone or eject a person off the raft. Orientation and training was supplied. Rafters do need to do some paddling so some physical exertion is required. The pilots (ours was Jenn), are funny, safety oriented, and great conversationalists. There is opportunity to swim in some of the calmer stretches of river for those who want to. Guides are fairly knowledgeable about local history and landmarks as well.
