Overview

If you're new to white water rafting trips, no worries, as you have four miles of relatively calm water to learn the paddle commands and how to paddle effectively as a team. Along the way there are incredible views into Glacier National Park's dramatic terrain.

Once you get to John Stevens Canyon the river picks up speed and your adventure really begins. You'll need all of that practice from upstream to execute the commands in the white water. With rapids like Bonecrusher, Jaws and the Notch (to name a few) your crew is sure to have an exciting time.

My daughter and I had a great time on our half day rafting trip last August (2022). Our guide Sam did an outstanding job. He was very down to earth and professional at the same time. Dude just rocked at his job. We couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience. These guys do a great job from start to finish. And they also let us borrow bear spray to take into the park. Only pay if you have to use it. Loved that too. Next time we come to Montana from Georgia, we're going out again with Great Northern Whitewater Rafting. Thanks guys!

We loved our outing with the Great Northern Whitewater Rafting. Our guide Macy was outstanding. She knew the ins and outs of the river which made it fun to navigate the many rapids that we experienced. Our family would highly recommend this outing and especially Macy!
