This trip includes Class II-IV whitewater and requires no previous rafting experience. The Shoshone Class III-IV rapids offer the whitewater enthusiast a two-mile stretch of exciting but not intimidating rapids. A guide favorite with interesting geology, gorgeous scenery, and some fun whitewater! Depending on weather and water levels, there are also opportunities to take a dip and swim!

The perfect adventure for families, beginner rafters, or anyone interested in the natural history of the area!

Our daughter has never been on a Whitewater raft and she had a blast! I can tell you that her mother and I did as well. The Glenwood Adventure Company is very professional and takes care to make certain everyone is safe but also has a great time in the river. Nate was our guide and he did a great job taking us through the rapids and ensuring we had a great trip. Thanks, Nate! Best of luck at Nebraska this fall! We would all agree to go on this whitewater trip over and over, or at least every chance we get to stop in Glenwood Springs.

My family of four had the most wonderful experience rafting with this outfit. Our guide was Albie and he possessed all the traits one would want in a guide. He was knowledgeable, and his sense of humor was the best! Everybody should meet an Albie in his/her life! Two in our family had not rafted before so we chose this Mild excursion, and it did not disappoint. I would also like to give a shout out to Ken for saving the day. We showed up on the wrong day, and he worked us in. Very gracious!

I had a group of 8 girls from Texas come up to Colorado for a private boat tour with GAC. We had Drew, aka Spicy Boi, as our guide and we honestly could not have chosen a better guide! He made the experience SO fun and personalized for each of us, kept us laughing the whole time, and made the experience that much better! I’ve been coming to GAC for years and I’ve never been disappointed! Huge thanks and shout out to Drew, if you can get him as your guide DO it!!
