Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must sign a Release Form (liability waiver) and/or an assumption of risk form to acknowledge understanding of these risks and assume all risk of participation
Minimum age is 6 years, must be capable of performing specific tasks independently
Properly fit into a type 5 coat guard approved life jacket
Wear closed toe shoes, quick dry materials for rafting (cotton not recommended)
Read and understand all the instructions in English
Consult a doctor before participating if you have a history of head, neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac concerns
Be able to self rescue in the event of a swim
Rental equipment available for rafting (wetsuits, polypro tops, river booties, splash jackets)

My wife, children ages 12-17, and I did the half day rafting trip. The staff was amazing. Everyone was super friendly, up-beat, and respectful. Our guide, Gabbie, was wonderful. She made a point to learn all of our names and was truly trying to make this trip memorable. She was energetic, knowledgable, and very funny. The trip down the Arkansas river through Brown canyon was spectacular. The rafting was adventurous without being taxing. The scenery beautiful and interesting. The team made safety #1 and worked together to keep everyone safe on the whole journey. The photos they took of us while on the trip came out so good, we bought all of them. They do sell disposable cameras but they can run out of them. The prices are very reasonable. This was our second rafting trip and it was definitely the best. My family and I highly recommend it!!!!

My wife and I came here on the advice of a friend who said it was "the only place to raft" in Colorado. He was right on. Perfect day on the river (we did the half-day Browns canyon - you are on the water about two hours). Rapids were nice and easy, but a lot of fun. The staff made us feel very welcome, safe and comfortable, even though it's been 20 years since either of us had rafted. Next time I think I'd like to try a class 4 experience, but the class 3 is perfect for a first timer or a family experience. The guides really know their way around the river, points of interest, and take the time to get to know you while doing much of the paddling (particularly if you're in a combo boat, which we were). Would definitely recommend and return.

My husband and I had a wonderful time rafting with Noah’s Ark! We did the Browns Canyon half day trip, and it was a great way to spend a morning exploring Colorado. The views were stunning, and the rapids provided just the right amount of thrill. The rapids will vary depending on the time of year and water level, but for us (rafting the middle of July), it was just right. The perfect combination of relaxing and thrilling. Our guide, Conner, was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt very safe in his raft We will definitely return next time we are in Buena Vista!
