  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
  • It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
  • Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
  • Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.
  • Please contact Air Maui directly for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
  • Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
  • Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
  • No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.

It was awesome to see the tall waterfalls on the island and to fly so close to them. And the views of the coast lines are beautiful!

My teenage boys and I enjoyed this so much. It allowed us to see different areas of the island and gave us ideas of things we wanted to go back to that we didn’t previously know. Our pilot also gave us some great history about the environment, locale, and folklore that we were able to pass on to the rest of our family while on vacation. It rained during part of our flight which i actually thought was pretty cool because we were flying over the rain forest and seemed part of the allure. Our pilot got us out of the rain for the vast majority of our trip for spectacular sunny views of the island and coast. I would definitely do it again.

Great helicopter tour! I was able to see the Road to Hana well before I drove it (so I knew what I was in for). Amazing views - a great opporunity to experience the more nature-y side of the island if you don't plan on hiking. Loved the narration during the ride (along with fun music cues). If you've never been in a helicopter before you'll feel safe (doors on). Pleased overall and would recommend!
