Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

We had very little time in Charleston this visit. I thought booking a carriage tour would give us a 'bang for our buck'. Unfortunately we had a young girl give the tour (not one of the names mentioned in other reviews), and there was very little history or stories in the tour. She made it very personal ....'top 3 churches....when i grew up...how do i wear my hat in this rain....etc. I just wanted it to end...You just looped around a couple of blocks and it was over. I'm guessing Sunday night , the regular tour guides are 'off'. I can't reccomend this and wish we did a walking tour and maybe would have got more information about the area/history.

A bad thunder storm came and we had to cancel the evening tour but did rebook for the following day. Carol, our driver, gave us great insight about the city as well as the waterfront. Jim, our trusted carriage puller, knew when and where to stop so we could enjoy the ride in comfort. Take this tour day or night. Excellent time
