I love bike tours. I go on them in every city I visit. The facts on this one were moderately interesting and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The best part was being able to see so many different neighborhoods in one morning. I recommend it to anyone who has an extra free 1/2 day free in SF.

I ended up in a small group with John Byrne Barry on the classic bike tour. The bikes were ready when we arrived, neatly labeled for each one of us based on the height info given during the reservation process. The ride is no problem for anyone comfortable on a bike and in reasonably good shape. The tour is mapped out to avoid major hills (the route involved "the wiggle" to accomplish this) while still hitting tons of locations. John was a fount of knowledge about the areas we visited. This was well worth the time.
