This is a great tour! One of the things I like to do in a new city is to sign up for a bus tour to get the lay of the land and learn about the area I am visiting. Pat is so knowledgeable about Galveston and its history. I enjoyed learning about the known history as well as the golden nuggets of the island that are not taught in school. Pat is amazing at peppering in suggestions for the best restaurants while discussing architecture and hidden tunnels as well as the rebuilding of the island after the Great Storm. He is funny and entertaining and is so dedicated to making sure the stories are accurate. As a former history teacher, he takes pride in continuing to learn about the area and puts his personal experiences in the tour. Best historical bus tour I have taken throughout my travel experiences.
