These buses are brand new it’s amazing. We learned so much about the 1900 Storm, the building of the seawall, the elevating of the houses and buildings after they built the seawall. We also learned about the embankment that a cannon was in in front of the San Louis hotel that help protect Galveston from German U-boats. We learned about the Moody family, George Mitchell, and the Fertitta family, and all they’ve done for the island. It was really nice to sit in the air conditioning and get out of the heat.
