We had a fabulous time on this covered wagon ride. The guide and driver was awesome and we even saw a moose and calf along the way. The dinner was delicious complete with wine and dessert. I would highly recommend this outing. 5 stars

There were just the 3 of us on this tour which was disappointing as it should be more popular, but meant we got a more intimate experience and could ask all sorts of questions on the area, history, horses etc. The dining was nothing too great but acceptable as I chose the trip purely for the wagon ride, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I picked the 8.30pm slot as it means you are riding back at close to sunset and the views are great.

We thought this would be a fun evening excursion, but it was disappointing. The horse and wagon ride was OK, the guide and wrangler were friendly, scenery was nice. When we got to where we were to eat, we got out of the wagon, went and sat down, the same crew started bringing food out one dish at a time. It was good, but it would have been nice to eat more than one dish at a time and also know what else was coming out. After dinner was done, we got back into the wagon and were driven back to the bus and taken back to the hotel. I guess we just expected something more. Not a lot of interesting info about the history on the drives there and back, or anything at all during the meal. I wouldn’t recommend as an evening entertainment.
