We went to see Rick Thomas illusionist in Branson, Missouri. He has been performing illusions for over 30 years. He has been around the world several times doing shows. He has won many awards for his illusions and show performance. Today’s show was no different. It was magnificent! I have seen several magicians and illusionist in my day and he is by far the absolute best! He is the best showman by the way he interacts with his audience and how he works with his show assistants. He has a beautiful white Great Pyrenees dog named Thunder (I believe) that participates in the show as well. That’s one smart dog! At the beginning of the show, Rick advised us that he hurt his knee while ice-skating with his wife a few days earlier. But the show must go on! And you can tell at least I could that the knee was painful, but he hardly let on and he gave one heck of a show. During the show he gave a shout out to all the military men and women and a beautiful tribute to them as well. His last illusion of the night is a must see. He told us when he first devised the illusion and performed it on stage in Las Vegas, Sigfried and Roy had snuck in and saw the illusion and called him immediately and were astounded by the illusion. What an ultimate complement to receive from your peers! Of course we all know of the unfortunate accident suffered by Roy onstage years ago and his recent passing. So if you are in Branson MO, please do yourself a favor and see Rick’s show of great illusions. And if you can, go backstage during intermission for a behind the curtain experience, it’s free. It’s a show you will never forget!

This show is absolutely amazing!!! There was spectacular illusions and also comedy!! Rick is so personable, he shook our hands, and thanked each one of us for being there. His motto is always follow your dreams and never let anyone tell you that you can't make them come true. Please go see this show!!! I will go see it again and would recommend it to anyone!!!!!
