Immersive Mesa Verde National Park Tour with Guide

Your professional guide will customize the trip to your group offering choices from the park's ranger-guided tours (Seasonally available 2nd week of May thru 3rd week of October) as well as adding historical, cultural and archaeological insights on interpretive hikes and walking tours. Park entrance fees, ranger-guided tour tickets and a deli-style lunch are included.

Discover Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978 and considered the largest archaeological preserve and first cultural National Park in the country. Mesa Verde, Spanish for green table, offers a spectacular look into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years. Today the park protects nearly 5,000 known archaeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. These sites are some of the most notable and best preserved in the United States.

I had wanted to visit Mesa Verde while in Durango, and was thrilled to find this tour with mountain waters. Greg, Crystal, & Trey Provided a wonderful day in the park! They have so much information and interest in this area that they provided another level of meaning to the tour, beyond with the Rangers could do! Definitely would do it again! Outstanding tour 👍🏼

We did the Mesa Verda tour and our guide was Aaron. He was very informed and an actual archaeologist. His ability to explain what was known to be true and explain the questionable history as known today was not only informative but deeply interesting. He made the trip fun and exciting from start to finish. He was more knowledgeable than the park rangers. Great trip...a memory for a lifetime.

To be fair to our nations park rangers, they often don't get their desired post and do the best they can. But to be a Mesa Verde Tour Guide for Mountain Waters you have to be, well, the very best! Our guides all exhibit the qualities you mention in your kind review. Aaron and the whole team who take our guests to Mesa Verde are outstanding and we are very proud of them. So interesting to see the cliff dwellings! Glad we traveled on our own path at our own rate. We were able to take our time & talk among ourselves. Great family vacation.
