Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

What a horrible experience. Very disappointed !! The local tour operator’s information was not given in the first place. tour operator never even responded confirming our tour. I pinged the operator with the link that Viator sent in the confirmation email but with no response. We waited at the lobby for more than an hour and no one turned up. So we we never went on any tour. I emailed back to Viator about the same issue and asked for a refund and I never got a response addressing the issue but received text message about this survey .

It's truly about the experience with these guys everything from the van they pick you up in to the hot beverage bar and camp fire they set up for you it's all done with the customer in mind they truly do all they can to give you an awesome experience they go the extra mile to find just the right spot for the viewing and they provide everything for you they even have a high end camera that takes some great photos for you I had an awesome time on this tour and would definitely recommend

The best part was all of the trip was Information provided as the trip when along. We also had reindeer sausages on an open fire while looking at the Aurora ! All in all defiantly the best part of my trip to Alaska. Our tour guide Nick was amazing and helped with anything we needed on our tour. I would 100% recommend this excursion for your visit it to Alaska.
