  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Please ensure to select the correct passenger option when booking your tour. The space inside the aircraft and we want to guarantee everyone will be comfortable in the helicopter. Selecting the improper option or misreporting weight can cause tour delays and cancellations without refund.
  • No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
  • Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!
  • Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative time or full refund
  • Please ensure your weight is in the correct format (kgs/lbs) when you include your weight at checkout
  • WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS – Please remember that each passenger will be weighed at our facilities. Be sure accurate weights have been reported and proper passenger types have been selected for each passenger. Misreporting weights or selecting the wrong passenger type may cause tour delays and cancellations without refunds.
  • Failure to provide mandatory information will result in cancellation of bookings. You must provide individual weights and pick up location details.
  • Coastal Helicopters will try our best to accommodate parties/families in the same helicopter. However, we cannot guarantee seating as it is all based on helicopter weight and balance, as well as the other parties within the flight. This will be determined at the time of check in once everyone on the flight has weighed in. Should your family/party be in split into multiple helicopters, the landing will happen together. Please also note that lap children are NOT allowed, and each passenger must purchase a full fare ticket.

We brought the sun and warmer temps with us from Georgia : ) The locals were very thankful ; ) Words and pictures can’t begin to describe this trip. The helicopter ride, the dogs and landing on an additional glacier was fantastic! It was a once in a lifetime trip for us and worth every single penny! Do not hesitate to book this incredible adventure. You won’t regret it!

This was the best trip ever! Everyone from drivers to pilots to the dog handlers and mushers were awesome. Very knowledgeable and fun loving. We had a beautiful day which helps but the slights from the air were breath taking and the dog sledding was pure fun. I also recommend doing the glacier walk. Glacier water is the best!! This was truly a highlight of the vacation.

Was just in Juneau & did the dog sledding excursion & additional glacier landing/tour. Amazing excursion! Very professional organization and feit very safe & organized and cognizant of cruisers and return time. Dog sledding was an incredibly unique experience that's worth doing at least once. Can be very cold on the glacier - bring warm & waterproof/water resistant clothes. The extra stop landing on the glacier was even better than the dogsledding. It does add expense, but you can't really understand glaciers until you've walked on one. Just do it! Finally, we had a minor issue & the company did a great job solving our problem. 5 stars & would do this excursion again!
