Children tour fare is valid for kids 7-12 . We do not allow children under 7, including infants in carriers, as this experience is best suited for older children and adults. We invite families with younger children to visit our new Lydgate Chocolate Tasting Room in downtown Kapaa: now open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please list the age of your child or children when making a reservation. We only allow children over 7 years old.
Farm visits require a tour reservation (we do not offer self-guided tours). Visit our tasting room in Kapaa town instead!
Please no children under 7.

The Lydgate Farme chocolate tour was a highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Samuel, took us on a journey of chocolate history at different locations around the farm. He was entertaining and kept us on the edge of our seats. I also loved all of the plants that he pointed out along the way. The three hours flew by. I don't know how Samuel was able to impart such knowledge - he did not appear to have any notes to prompt him. Unbelievable!

This tasting tour was so much fun! We tasted chocolate (of course), and tropical fruit, honey, and more chocolate. We learned about all things cocoa and the process of making and storing chocolate., about growing vanilla, and the different tastes of honey! The grounds are beautiful, and the tour is relaxed. Our excellent guides were Maddie and Jess. There is an opportunity to buy their chocolate at the end but no big uncomfortable pressure to do so. Fun, delicious and informative.

From Japan!!! The owner of this place was very friendly and funny. I also highly recommend it because the explanations were polite and easy to understand.
