We took a six-hour boat tour to the Kenai Fjords and would consider this one of the highlights of our holiday in Alaska. It was a great trip and the boat was comfortable. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside, and a nice lunch was included. The scenery was spectacular, and we were fortunate to see some calving of the Aialik Glacier. Included along the way we saw Puffins, Humpback Whales, Sea Lyons, and Orca Whales. The Captain gave a great commentary and was very accommodating when there was anything of particular interest to see. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The entire 8 hour day trip was wonderful. Staff was pleasant and well informed. They did what ever they could to show us wildlife but were not talking just to talk. Wonderful trip I would do again in a second.

A wonderful tour, during which we saw a dizzying variety of wildlife in addition to natural splendor. The boat was clean and well-maintained and the crew was amazingly helpful. We were fortunate to have calm seas and only scattered rain showers. The Captain followed up on reports from other boats and found a pod of orcas, which came up amazingly close to the boat. The crew was very attentive to the passengers’ safety and comfort and they were friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife and natural features. The cabin was roomy and had good visibility; although I chose to stay out on the outer decks (colder but better visibility), you would get a very good view of most everything if you stayed inside. A couple of suggestions: carry extra warm clothes (sweaters, windbreaker, hat) because the water is cold and the boat will be moving at 20-25 knots between sites. Also, if you’re at all prone to seasickness, eat a light breakfast - the boats are very steady (the one we were on was a catamaran) but there’s always some swell and the seas can occasionally get a bit “lively”. Even with nearly flat seas, we had a small cadre of seasick individuals clustered around the stern rail.
