Thank you for sharing your experience. We have looked into your concerns about the sales rep, our Sales Manager has confirmed we do not have a male sales rep working at the Aquarium. Maybe you are thinking of another attraction since our Aquarium has been averaging between 400-700 visitors per day.
We would also like to share some background information about our Aquarium.
We are privately operated and privately owned, unlike most aquariums in the United States.
Our aquarium content is restricted to species of fish indigenous to the Florida Keys only. Because of our desire to keep our presentation confined to local specimens, we are faced with the prospect of doing all of our own collecting.
We have staffed the aquarium with guides who give narrated tours of the entire facility on a scheduled basis as opposed to a ‘tour on your own’ type of facility. We feel that having well versed guides makes it more interesting to our guests and offers a more personal experience.
We are constantly adding to and updating our exhibits, updating paint and décor where possible. However, we are a historic aquarium in a historic b
[email protected], hosting live animals. The care and well being of these animals takes precedent over any updates or modernizing that could endanger their lives.
