My only regret about this wonderful food and history tour is that we took it our last night, not our first! Led by wonderful historian and local expert Lauren- we learned so much fascinating and hilarious history, architecture, plant identification and of course amazing food and drink tastings. My favorite was the plantain duo at Frita’s Cuban. We were so stuffed by the end of the tour I couldn’t finish my key lime pie! I wanted to stay an extra day to revisit the spots Lauren took us. We also enjoyed getting to know the other couple on our tour during this relaxed friendly walk. I have done food tours in other cities and find it’s the best way to have a sampler platter of tastes and experiences- Key West did not disappoint!

SFT Key West satisfied my desire to experience the island through food the locals eat as well as more known favorites. While all stops provided special offerings, three delivered amazing treats that were full of flavor and cooked perfectly! I will NEVER forget them. We even went back to two of the spots later that week. We tried 3 key lime pies while on the island. The one on tge tour was THE BEST. Sharry has a great personality and took care of every need for our group. She provided a ton of history about the island. You will definitely enjoy the food and learn a lot on this tour.

Was a great food tour. Always good to do this first thing so you can get the inside scoop of the town and local eats. It was my friend’s First food tour and she was amazed at all the history she learned.
