Our meeting time of 8:30 is the optimal time as we are one of the first to get on and usually get back before the strong afternoon winds pick up. Kayaking on lake Yellowstone on a old volcano is truly one of the top five things to do while in the park. With our small group tours we are able to personalize the tour and really show our guests this place in a unique way. All of our kayaks have a rudders which is very important on windy days and is a great way to steer with ease. Our naturalist guides/level 3 ACA certified trip leaders are in the top of their field and have years of experience, this helps when talking about Yellowstone as a naturalist and safety as a seasoned guide. Kayaking past the west thumb geyser and Potts geyser basin is a truly special way see this area of Yellowstone lakes thermal features, With our fast and stable kayaks we are able to cover more ground safety to optimize guests overall experience

Phil and Joe were fantastic guides who had everything well-organized and ready to go, making for a seamless experience from start to finish. Their prep session was thorough, covering all the essential tips for kayaking, even for those who weren’t seasoned paddlers. The equipment, from the kayaks to the vests and accessories, was in excellent condition, which added to the overall enjoyment. We divided into two groups of four, and it made for a relaxed and intimate journey. We were lucky to be with Joe, who was super knowledgeable about Yellowstone and the wildlife around the lake. He expertly paced the trip, weaving in fascinating stories about the landmarks and sights we passed. Joe’s deep understanding of the park’s wildlife and history was evident, making the experience both educational and entertaining. His engaging and humorous narrative, paired with his perfect pacing, made the four-hour tour fly by. I highly recommend this kayak adventure for a unique perspective on Yellowstone.

We did this kayak tour last week on our family trip to Yellowstone and it was awesome! We had an amazing guide (Phil), and we all had a blast. The lake is beautiful and we learned a lot! We all enjoyed hearing the stories our guide shared with us, and we're still talking about the experience. Highly recommend!
