I have been to this resort several times and has been good unfortunately this recent visit April 2023 was just terrible. When we got there four of the major rides were broken down and several other rides were not even open at all. Now I know that wait times for amusement parks can be long but this was just way too much with all those rides broken or closed 1 hour plus waits were a real chore and on the entire day we were able to just do a few. Spent so much money on the tickets, food in the part and Lego sets this trip and really let down. Will never be back to this place again.

To be honest I was disappointed. The place feels really unfinished. There were a lot of rides that were not working. 1 in nearly each area. The app was showing rides as open whe they were not. There was a heat wave and it was pushing 94deg. There wasn't enough shade and in the pirate area most of the water fountains weren't working. The rides we went o were good rides.

Our family had a pretty miserable experience today at Legoland New York (4/13/23). I wish I had read more reviews before making the trip there. First and foremost, anyone over the age of five or six is going to be bored to death. My nine and 11-year-old kept asking me where the good rides? None to be found except one half decent roller coaster. There is still a lot of construction going on at the park and there are very few rides. We got there as soon as the park opened and the lines were ridiculous. Even the most basic kitty rides had a 1-2 hour wait. It was 93° degrees and there is literally almost no shade anywhere to be found in the entire park. The park is also extremely hilly so you are constantly walking up and down hills and staircases to get to each section. After 3 hours at the park we couldn't wait to leave. Crying and screaming, heat exhausted toddlers everywhere. The Lego creations throughout the park are cool and the staff we encountered were all very friendly but there is just not enough to do there and the lines are absurd. We tried to watch one of the shows but it was canceled due to technical difficulties. The place is very nice and clean as it should be since it just opened last year. Maybe in a few more years this place will be decent but I would not return anytime soon unfortunately. We kind of wish we went to Hershey Park or somewhere else more established.
