Our tour guide was a very knowledgeable and engaging historian who had lots of interesting stories to tell. If you have read The Island at the Center of the World by Russell Shorto, then this tour is a must.

The walk is about two hours, it helps to have read the book 'Island at the Center of the World' by Russel Shorto. It's a nice and pleasant way to experience another way of NY. The host is very friendly, know a lot details about the shared history of The Netherland and Flanders. If you're Belgian or from Holland, don't miss this tour.
