We did the seven day cruise and wanted to do a luau, so we picked this one mostly because it did not conflict with anything else. A bus took us there, then we got into a very long slow line because (a) they just pack in too many people and (b) they insist on photographing everyone then trying to sell you photos at ridiculous prices (something most excursions did). The first half of the show was lackluster(a few random people singing and dancing, looked like a high school talent contest). Then the buffet which was sub-par to say the best. (I was allergic to most of it, but nobody ever asked if anyone had allergies). The only think I could eat was the pulled pork which had no sauce and was very dry and tasteless. I get better food at the worst place in Texas. Then the second half of the show began, the actual story began. (A guy meets girl, guy goes on adventure, girl gets lonely, guy and girl are reunited, baby is born, fire dance because, well, sure.) THAT was incredible and worth the price. After that, we waited in line over an hour for the inadequate number of busses to shuttle us back to the ship. Like I said, they pack in too many people.
