1 I arrived at 8 pm for the tour, but no one was there. I called the hotline and was told that I was texted earlier in the day. The text was a statement supposedly telling me that there was a cancellation. I never received the text message because my phone was on airplane mode during my flight into Virginia. I don’t understand why the operator cancelled the tour. Our tickets alone cost $50. Even if we were the only people on the tour, fifty dollars is fifty dollars. It’s better than zero dollars. Finally, the tour was a way to relax before a consequential interview the next day, so the cancellation had the opposite effect.

This tour NEVER HAPPENED! we showed up on time. The meeting place was CLOSED! When the guide finally showed up late, she said she had forgotten her phone! We couldn’t wait for her to go home and come back with the phone. If you need your phone to do your job, you should remember it! Now I’m arguing with Victor for a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!

My brother and I ended up having a private tour tonight from the best ghost host Madelin. Not only is this a satisfyingly spooky tour its also full of Lynchburg history. A must do for a random night on the town. Bonus, the tour begins and ends in the heart of downtown near all the good restaurants and bars.
