I can't say enough about this tour. Our guide, Winston, was soooo knowledgeable and most importantly passionate about the estuary and the importance of it in supporting the ecosystem of the area. My husband and I learned so much from him on this trip and beyond that - it is a little slice of heaven. The mangrove tunnels are sooo pretty and it's just so cool to maneuver your kayak through these tunnels. We even learned how the tunnels are formed! Very cool tour - I highly recommend!

We have done this kayak trip 5-6 times over the past few years and, each time, the guides provide a unique experience. Forest and Bryce are scientists at the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and were able to tell us about both their specific areas of study abd expertise as well as give us general knowledge of the estuary system. They spoke eloquesntly about the animals and plant life in the preserve, the effects of human interaction and what the future might hold. It was a woinderful experience. Thank you Forest and Bryce and thank you Rising Tide for a great experience.

I’ve been coming down to Naples for years and this was the first time I decided to take an eco-tour and I am so happy I did. Evan was such an excellent tour guide - he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I had such a good time seeing the mangroves and estuaries. Not only was the tour itself beautiful, but we also got to learn about Naples’ history and ecosystems. Evan taught us about the wildlife and flora and fauna and answered all of our questions. I was so impressed with his knowledge! This was one of the best things I’ve ever done while visiting Naples and know this is something I will do on all future trips.
