We found out about Streetwise Tours during our stay at Pod 51. The tours were free to residents at the hotel. We decided to sign up for the Meat Packing District and the Highline walking tour. Dan and our guide were both excellent and very knowledgeable. It was an interesting and informative tour with brilliant street food and restaurant advice at the end of the tour! Only wish we'd had more time to join them for the other tours they run.

I visited New York with my mother last month. We booked a two day Brooklyn and Queens tours. It was absolutely fantastic getting an insight of the two boroughs. Dan, our tour guide did a great job in pointing out the historical and cultural back ground. We visited the chocolate factory and the Brooklyn Art Library and walked through the very interesting Bohem streets of Williamsburg(Brooklyn). Dan made us feel very comfortable, we took our time while visiting sites and also shared a delicious Indian snack in Queens. It was simply Great! If and when we return to New York, we would absolutely call on Dan. Vielen Dank,merci beaucoup, gracie Dan!!!

We opted to take a walking tour organised by our hotel Pod51 in October 2013, which was free. Andrew our guide showed us the area and gave us a different perspective - certainly not what you find in standard guidebook. Being jazz fans he also tipped us off to free concert in Harlem which was one of the highlights of our trip to New York and we would not have ventured there had he not explained how that worked. Highly recommended!
