We had a real great day with our Streetwise guide Dan. We did the Brooklyn tour and it was perfect! He showed us places, we would never have found on our own. He knew so many background information about Brooklyn artists, history etc. which you won't find in any travel book. The most amazing area was Williamsburgh with its cool chocolate factory and its artists shops and all the vintage Restaurants. Totally different from busy Manhattan but you must see it!!! Don't miss the Brooklyn icecream factory! Next time we are going to book another tour with streetwise. Inspite of our English isn't the best, we had no difficulty in understanding Dan. On our first day in NY we did a private tour with was much more expensive - but definitely worse! You can't go wrong with Streetwise! Thank you for the perfect day!! We visited USA in May, 2013 and stayed there for six months. The immediate visit was of course a New York. We already had bird's eye view when our aircraft starts descending to land on JFK Airport. It was really beautiful. A statue of liberty could be seen at a long distence. I just recalled similar view of our city Mumbai. We traveled through the city by subways and by walk. A Trip Advisor loaded on mobile was our guide. We visited this city 4-5 times during these six months. We enjoyed view from State Empire building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and Manhattan and other bridges, Central Park, Central railway station, Time Square, Wall street, Broadway in day and night time. It was really wonderful experience. Still we want to go again and visit this city as we missed museums, gardens, hotels, theaters and many more!

The walking tour we took with Dan this spring was fun, educational and a great way to ensure you will see some of NYC that you would otherwise miss. Dan listened to our interests and created a tour that really fit our wishes. His local knowledge and bits of information put context to the sights and neighborhoods. Schedule this at the beginning of your trip to get the some coaching on getting around and tips and hints on place to go during your stay. Great Job and I'd highly recommend this tour!
