Captain Bill, Melissa, and Callum were extremely welcoming and incredible hosts on our adventure. They made sure we were doing ok the entire time and offered us water, fresh cut pineapple, fruit snacks, and cookies. They were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. As for the mantas, we were kissed three times! Such cool creatures that we got to see up close. At one point we counted 8 mantas in front of us!

We had a great night viewing the Manta's. The crew of Kevin and Cal were awesome along with Captain Bill. Because of high surf, our tour was postponed four nights but fortunately we were able to get out on the fifth night. There were more Manta's than we were able to count. At least 12 to 15+ in a continuous stream feeding at the lights. A highlight of our trip to the big Island. Would definitely go again.

Top notch crew. Captain Bill and mates Kevin and Callum were first class. They took very good care of everyone and made sure we were comfortable. The actual manta encounters were exceptional. These peeps have the right equipment and knowledge to give a phenomenal manta ray show. Side Note - the seas can get rough, it was tough the night we were out. There were ten or so other boats out too, so it was not out of sorts for us to be out (crew acted like just another day). Personally I had overlooked just how rough it could get. Getting to/from bay wasn’t bad. Tied off in the bay however was interesting. The side to side and up n down rocking made it real tough. Many peeps in our group were in tough shape. The higher seas also demanded more arm strength and overall grit to hang on to board. If you know you have sea sickness issues or lack strength or ability to hang on to something over your head, check with the crew before you depart about water conditions in the bay. It will be much more enjoyable for you and the other peeps on your trip. Just my opinion.
