This is THE people to go see the Manta Rays with. They are very serious about the experience and providing a safe environment for you and the Manta Rays. We were the first boat out and the last ones to return. My wife and I saw more Mantas than we could count even though neither of us had much snorkeling experience and my wife was a less than confident swimmer. If you need any assistance at all like my wife and I did multiple times, the crew is quick to help you to make the experience as good as possible.

The captain and crew were professional and safely conscious. There was a lot of buildup about what we might see but ended up seeing 2 manta rays. The water was very rough with several passengers getting sick. Holding onto the light board in rough water was difficult and strenuous. I would not suggest it for people who are not fit because it is tough on shoulders and back. No one was given the option of free snorkeling due to the rough seas. The activity overall was not accurately described.

This was an incredible tour, the crew was amazing and very helpful. We saw at least 10 Manta Rays, one of them was at least 15 feet across. We were worried about getting in the water at night with our kids (9 and 12) but those fears were quickly alleviated by the helpful crew. They got us in the water during sunset and as it got darker the show became more incredible with the Mantas flipping in front of our faces. The captain was proud of the boards he built and talked about how his lights and system Was better than other boats. Based on what we saw with the other boats I would agree with him. The board they built was pretty cool! We would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Kona. The only negative is the boat is very tight with the 24 people crammed in there. **Don’t forget your underwater cameras, we didn’t bring ours and wished we had. Luckily a friend had one and shared the video with us. The crew does not have any camera / video equipment. **
