Zach and Mitch did a phenomenal job caring for and educating is. They provided hot chocolate, snacks, warm coats, explaining the constellations and the history of the area with deference to the Hawaiian natives for whom this area has great religious and cultural significance. Seeing all the international observational equipment that the US allows in the area to share information globally is impressive. It was incredible to be able to look through the telescope they set up at celestial bodies, the nebula was absolutely awesome! Making our trip even more amazing, Kilauea decided to erupt so it was truly an evening to remember (don’t forget to request that they arrange this when you book your tour ;) It is a definitely an adventure NOT to miss!!
