We had a fantastic tour of Memphis with our tour guide Eric. Great singer and guitar player - we actually went to the Rum Boogie on Beale Street that night to see him perform! Would definitely recommend this tour - you get to see many different parts of Memphis and learn a lot about music, both historic and current. Well worth the price. Comfortable, air conditioned bus and convenient pick up location. Great music!! We did not pay extra to go to Sun Studios. Certainly would have been interesting...maybe next time.

We had an awesome time riding around the town of Memphis with our musical host. We got to see the sites, learn some musical history, and were thoroughly entertained. A comfortable ride in an air conditioned bus with convenient pick up and drop off location. We added on the Sun Studio tour, which was awesome as well. Fun to see where Elvis lived (in public housing) when he first arrived in Memphis and where Johnny Cash lived. We would definitely recommend taking this tour. I would, however, suggest that this is not the trip for toddlers. We had a family with two small children who screamed many times (loud, high-pitched, ear shattering screams). No fault of the tour company, but just a suggestion to families who may be considering the trip. There's really not an option to leave the tour if the kids are less than happy.
