I booked this because the reviews on TripAdvisor were good, but I was still skeptical. We thought it would be hokey and would probably have very amateur musicians. We were completely wrong and really surprised by the quality. Our musical guide, Eric Hughes, turned out to be somewhat of a local celebrity. We later saw his billboards around town and name on marquees and in advertisements across the City. He was incredible. Not only a charismatic story teller, and a Memphis local, but AMAZING energetic blues singer. You definitely got the sense he had great passion for his music and the City. It was a great way to start our visit to get the lay of the land and hear some history and stories. Personally, I thought the 90 minute tour was just the right amount of time.
