Come take a half day tour and see the highlights of Mesa Verde National Park. We’ll squeeze 700 years of history into a 6-hour round trip tour (3 hours’ total drive time, 3 hours in the park) with a professional guide that is passionate about giving you the most informative experience possible. This tour will include a stop at several iconic cliff dwellings, including the park’s crown jewel, Cliff Palace, where you have the option of taking a 40 minute ranger led tour (Seasonally available 2nd week of May thru 3rd week of October). We’ll also take in some of the most spectacular views of the 4 Corners region as we travel through the park. We guarantee that you’ll leave with a new found appreciation for the cultures and landscapes of the Southwest. Included: Park fees, Cliff Palace tickets, transportation to and from Durango and within the park, and plenty of water and snacks.

Neal, our tour guide, made the trip awesome. He was kind and courteous to all, including our service animal! Very knowledgeable about Mesa Verde, but if he didn't know the answer, he would let you know and if possible found a park ranger to help answer the question.

Our family, aged 84 through 8 enjoyed our guided tour of Mesa Verde. We only had one day, and this trip fit the bill! And since I’m the solo driver on our multi-state trip, I thoroughly enjoyed getting an opportunity to let our guide Neil do the driving while I enjoyed the views. Neil was kind and thoughtful and knowledgeable about the area. He ensured we had water and snacks and watched out for those in our group who needed additional time. He had all parties introduce themselves so we all quickly became acquainted and could visit along the way. Neil also took additional time to take professional photos of our group at the site! I actually got to be in the pictures (a treat since I’m also the photographer for our group and am usually missing from our vaca snapshots except for the selfies! This was a treat, everything was taken care of: entrance to the park, ranger guided tour of Cliff Palace, snacks and Neil’s guided tour of Coyote Village and Spruce Treehouse. Suggestion: bring a sandwich. The snacks are lovely but you will work up an appetite and you don’t want to waste time standing in line at the busy concession stands. From the phone call follow up after I made the reservation - to the check in in Durango everyone of the team made our visit easy and seamless.

We enjoyed the tour very much. Our guide Neil was very informative and kind. It's an amazing place with various degrees of strenuous activity. So glad we were able to spend the day there.
