The road is bordered by the emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Make sure you take pictures! You will have 6 hs free in Key West to explore the island at your leisure. Key West lies at the end of the chain of islands known as the Florida Keys and is the southernmost city in the continental United States.
- Key West is known for its clear blue waters, sun-filled skies, and laid-back attitude. In addition to being a great vacation spot, the city has also served as an artistic refuge, a presidential retreat, and a military post.

This was a decent price for a round trip ticket from Miami to Key West. The bus was clean. However, the driver had an awful chunky cough and wasn't discreet about spitting loudly into a trash can next to him throughout the drive there so that was kind of gross. It was cold on the bus so bring a light jacket even in the hot months. The tour guide who did the talking was proficient in English, Spanish and French, which I thought was pretty amazing. The couple in front of me spoke French and he took the time to tell them all of their options to purchase activities in French for them to understand. There is a free bus in Key West that they don't tell you about. You don't have to do the $55 Trolley Ride unless you want a narrated tour. The free Key West bus is called "Duval Loop." You can get on and off, like the trolley. I walked some and took the Duval Loop Bus some. I got to see everything I wanted to in the day. I visited the Southernmost Point, shopping in Mallory Square, had a nice lunch, walked by The Little White House and Hemingway's House. It was a great day until we all loaded in the Travel to Key West Tour Bus on time and then the tour guide got on and said the bus was broken! He never said what was wrong, just that it was broken. They quickly made arrangements to split us up amongst the 3 other Tour Companies that had buses there. I don't know what would have happened if all 4 buses had been full! But luckily they weren't! The funny but not funny part is that I got within 3 miles of my hotel in Miami and the bus I was put on ALSO broke down! It was NOT owned by this same tour company. She said those of us she had rescued should probably buy a lottery ticket, to have two buses break down from different companies on one trip! I don't think either bus issue could have been avoided. These things happen. Both buses seemed to be in good working order and clean/new so it was just part of the adventure.

This was a great trip to do whilst visiting Miami, and it was good value for money as it’s quite a distance! Around 5 hours on the bus with hotel pick ups! Hotel pick up and drop off is great, everything was on time throughout the day! The bus was comfortable and had air con and a toilet , tour guide was great too, gave lots of information on the way and plenty to see as you went through the different keys! There was a short stop in the way to pick up a quick breakfast at mc Donald’s! Loved Key west, we had 6 hours to explore by ourselves, we really enjoyed that at our leisure, other activities are available! Would definitely do it again, really was a highlight of our holiday!

the outward journey was a little late but due to traffic. pleasant experience the return journey a nightmare. The first bus doesn't leave so we got off and were reassigned to another one that stopped in Miami and so as not to wait another 25 minutes for another bus to pick us up I took a taxi for 20 dollars and we went home without even a refund or at least the decency of an apology email.
