Drivers born after 1987 will need a temporary boaters license. Please check voucher or confirmation email for the website to obtain license. This takes about 20 minutes to complete and MUST be obtained before arrival.
Maximum weight limit per boat is 325 lbs. and fits up to 2 people.

It was awesome. If the waters was not so choppy we would had stayed to whole set time! Other than that we had a great time.

We went back and forth about whether or not we should rent a boat during our time in Fort Lauderdale, but we are SO glad we did! This was our first time operating a boat. My husband got a temporary license, the employee we rented from was super kind and helpful, and it really felt similar to just driving a car. We initially signed up for a 1 hour reservation, but we were having so much fun we extended to 2 hours! Highly recommend a 2 hour reservation because you’ll be able to go the whole way into downtown Fort Lauderdale. We stayed in Hollywood, so this was the only part of our trip where we got to see downtown. This scratched my husband’s itch of wanting to “rent a car and go adventure” but without the hassle of a rental car. Highly recommend - this was the best part of our trip!
