As a husband my ego was big. It’s was my 1st time operating a boat. I was humbled really quick when the waves from bigger boats began tossing my little boat. It took a minute to adjust to everything, but overall the experience was AMAZING! I definitely recommend it to anyone interested.

We never got to go in this experience, as we booked the trip the day of and did not have any disclaimer saying we needed a boaters license. Once we saw the disclaimer before preparing to go on our trip we had no issue taking a “30 minute” boaters test to obtain the 3$ license as this wouldn’t have been an issue. But because the 30 minute time frame that was stated ended up being untrue (the actual test being 2 hours long) we were unable to get this done and enjoy the experience. At this point there was no real complaint because we thought we may be at fault, however we did cancel many hours in advance after booking the same day and still have not received a refund. It is worded on the site cancellations must be made atleast 24 hours prior but how can that be the case in our situation? We just wanted to enjoy the experience but due to stipulations we couldn’t any other time we would have canceled 24 hours in advanced having known the proper information but once again we booked same day. We are feeling a bit cheated due to not receiving the full knowledge we needed, having not gone on the trip, and not receiving our refund.

NOTE TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW: If you have any issues please contact us directly. My staff and I really do care about your experience. We can help you much better then calling some 1-800# or chat box. We are a small business and I can guarantee I will choose customer happiness over money or a negative review 100% of the time. Responce below: Hey - I am sorry you weren't able to visit us. Please contact us directly so we can help you get a refund (we have no idea who you are - we have NO refund requests). I have made the boating requirements as prominent as VIATOR will allow me. They will not allow me to post the boaters certificate web link until AFTER you have made a purchase. The Florida temporary boaters certificate is 25 questions, does cost $3 per test try and generally takes 30 mins to complete. This is valid for 90 days. If you choose a life time permanent boaters license that is FREE (on many websites) but does take 3 hours to complete. As for your cancellation through the VIATOR site. Apparently they allow customers to cancel on their own. We are not notified as to any circumstances after you cancel. I have no idea if you are refunded, given credit or not given a refund & just lose your money. I have no idea there is an issue until you contact us or leave a negative review.
