The tour was just an easy six miles on a straight road from Goulding's Campground. Duffy, our Navajo guide, was really into the tour. He's loaded with information and ready to share it. We learned so much from him about Navajo culture. He and his son played music on Navajo instrument for us at a natural amphitheater. The tour was not rushed, and went half an hour longer than stated, but with no extra charge. Meet at The View hotel. We went at 8:00 am when it was cooler. Amazing sights, including rock formations, and a hogan. Loretta, a Navajo, braided my daughter's hair in the Navajo way with a grass comb, etc. We had a lot of fun (our kids are 20, 18, 15).
