We weren't sure that this trip was worth the money, however, we changed our minds and really enjoyed it. We took the sunset tour at 5:00 PM. Our guide, Bob, was very engaging and offered some excellent views for the photographer.
Communication with the tour company was poor. It was hard to get them on the phone, and they did not call back as promised on their answering machine. Departure time was confusing as the tour runs on Utah time even though they are actually located in Arizona. This needs to be made more clear on their website.
The tours all leave from the Navajo Tribal Park and there is a 20.00 for a vehicle with up to 4 people charge to get into the park which is not covered by the aforementioned tour. The website site suggests a 5.00 charge, but that is only if there is four people in your vehicle. Again this is misleading.
All in all, this was a good tour that we will recommend to friends.
Our guide was Steven and he was terrific. This was a group of eight people. The vehicle was comfortable, even for tall people. My husband is 6'7 and had adequate legroom, which is amazing! Steven was informative about the area, the culture, the history and topography of the Valley. I have wanted to visit Monument Valley for a long time and this tour, which ended around sunset, was perfect.
Tour was fantastic! But if you have backproblems - it is realy not a good idea
