I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Moonshine Coasters in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of Beth, the manager. As my family was leaving, we were shocked when Beth began yelling at us from the balcony, demanding that a car be moved, even though it did not belong to us. She threatened that the car would be towed if it wasn’t moved immediately. The aggressive and unnecessary way she communicated left us feeling unwelcome.
After being treated so rudely, we decided to request a refund for the second ride we had paid for but no longer wanted to experience. Beth’s attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and at one point, she told us, “I don’t have to give you a refund.” Her lack of customer service skills and basic courtesy was astonishing.
Beth’s behavior not only ruined our experience, but it also drove away other potential customers. We witnessed families turn around and leave after seeing her yell at us from the balcony. One family even stopped us to say they would not spend their money here and that the way Beth acted was ridiculous. This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I strongly urge upper management to reconsider who they have in such a customer-facing position. A manager should represent the business positively, and Beth’s actions are doing the exact opposite. Moonshine Coasters could be a great place to visit, but not with someone like Beth running the show. As Beth, the manager, said herself, she did not care about a bad review or customers leaving.
If I could give zero stars I would!! All bc of BETH THE MANAGER!!
