My daughter (10) and I had never surfed before and did the two hour lesson. We had a blast. Our instructor Kevin was great with my daughter - patient, fun and encouraging. I was riding my own waves mid-way through the session. My daughter ended up being a little intimidated by the surfing and quit a little early, but Kevin was great about it. We had a great time and would definitely love to do it again the next time we are in Myrtle.

My three teenagers did the two hour group surf lesson. There was only one additional person with them. This was definitely a highlight of our trip! They were able to stand and surf after a very short time and the instructors were awesome. My daughter was nervous about sharks so one of the instructors pretended to call someone asking them to cage the sharks! Once we got that out of the way, they were able to move on to learning how to surf! With not being used to the ocean, they were nervous at first but the instructors are very serious about safety and very patient, answering all of their questions, which was comforting for my teens (and me!). If we're ever back in Myrtle Beach, we'll definitely sign up for this again!

My daughter and I took our very first surfing lesson together and the experience was excellent. The instructors were easy to follow and great at helping everyone get on their boards for our first rides. I would highly recommend to anyone.
