Man, we had the best time on this adventure. The day was so nice. It was a bit cloudy, but still so much sun - enough to get burnt - and a very minor breeze.
Sign in was simple (electronic) and there are restrooms if needed. Park in the dirt lot, doesn't matter where as long as it is in that lot. You are walked to the boat after roll call and you leave your shoes in a cart. Bags get tucked in the lower deck area along the back. There is plenty of instruction on how the experience was going to go and safety before launching. There is organic sunscreen (free) as well as all day water and soda beverages. You can be served alcohol if you don't swim prior to snorkeling or afterwards if you do.
The sea was super calm on the way to the snorkel site. We got lots of information as we went along. The right side of the boat faces the coast on the way there so if you want a great view, get to that side. There were a TON of dolphins that we stopped around and watch ride the wake in the front of the boat.
Breakfast was out pretty early, with baked goods and fruit. No low-carb option, so if you eat keto bring a snack. It did look like a very nice spread.
The snorkeling was fun and super easy. I've never done it, and I had no problems for my first time. We got 45 minutes to check things out in an arc radius with one of the guides on a board in the water to answer questions or help anyone. The gear is provided as well as a noodle to float easier. There were a fair amount of fish and just a few turtles.
Once everyone is back on board, we turned back around and the left side started getting some coastline views. There was a chance to get drenched under a (cold!) waterfall on the right side of the front after snorkeling, so don't change into your dry clothes until after that if you want to experience it.
Lunch was served a bit afterwards. Great selection for keto and low-carb that included sliced veggies and lunch meat. There was of course bread, condiments, cheese, and cookies too. Super happy with the lunch selection.
The way back was rougher. 98% of the people were in the back after lunch since the front gets soaked with spray from the waves. It was enough wind to be cold, so a light jacket is right. Do reapply sunscreen or cover up or stay in the shade.
There was no 'sail' part of the trip as the wind was barely there for the day, but that didn't detract from the experience for me. The crew was fun and personable. Very attentive. We loved our adventure because of them.
