This is a FULL DAY tour, as listed in the description, so people who were expecting a shorter tour were fooling themselves. If you only want a short tour, select a different option. Even though the tour was lengthy, it was packed full of things to see and experience. The ride our of San Francisco includes riding across the Golden Gate Bridge, which even at the end of our trip to the area, which included several passes, was still an exciting experience. From there we went to Roche Winery, which was our favorite stop. Then we visiting the beautiful Jacuzzi Winery before heading to Sonoma Square for lunch. Our final winery was at the Madonna Estates. By this time, the entire bus was buzzed, full, and tired and the fact that this was also probably the least beautiful and least exciting stop is what attributes to most of the complaints about time. Rather than complaining about the tour being too long, however, they should complain about this winery. It's simply a sales pitch and I would've much rather had another experience line Roche or Jacuzzi. Unfortunately it appears as though Madonna Estates is almost guaranteed, whereas the other two depend on scheduling. Our bus driver/tour operator was amazing though. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the wine making process and he even made a special stop on the way back to a great viewing location of the bridge and bay area. After that he went out of his way to make sure each person was dropped in very close proximity to their hotel.
