Aside from our driver, Abe, the customer service was absolutely horrible and what we got was not what was advertised. First, I was unable to get in contact with anyone from the company to get answers to basic questions such as where we should be for pick up, the itenerary, if we were responsible for prepaying or making reservations at the wineries, etc. The day of our planned trip started out in absolute chaos. We had no idea where to meet the driver and it was only then that we learned that the Mercedes convertible we were told we would have, was actually going to be a massive bus with a total of 20 people on it that arrived almost a half hour after we were told our excursion was to start. Based on the website and my conversation with someone from the booking agency the day before, we were told it was going to be a private tour in a bus for our party of 6. All of this would have been fine had it not been for the two employees I talked to that morning trying to figure out what was going on and why our driver was late. When I explained that what she was telling me was not what I paid for, she fought with me over the wording that they chose to use on Viator and that Viator was misadvertising the product. Despite knowing that others felt similar to me that they purchased a product that they do not actually have, she continued to fight with me, even while I was on the bus trying to enjoy the trip. Overall this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We ended up having a blast, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that we purchased tickets to something that absolutely was not provided. Beware.
