Our family was in Nashville with my mom. My mom is older, walks with a cane and the trolley tour was perfect for us! As soon as we stepped on the bus we were welcomed by Kelly with a cold bottle of water, and then Bert, with an 'E', introduced himself. The trolley was open air with the windows up, and very comfortable. Bert had a keyboard set up in the front of the bus, and started playing songs and providing historical facts about the sites we were passing. He was VERY entertaining. Our family was laughing and singing the entire trip. At one point we were near the Vanderbilt campus and stopped at a bar, "The Local" where local musicians play their own music. It was amazing! We ended the night at the pedestrian bridge, which was lit up and a great location for photos. My mom couldn't walk up the bridge, but Bert made sure she got on elevator and was able to participate. Both Kelly and Bert were very thoughtful.
The next morning my mom realized she had lost her wallet that had cash in it. When we figured out, she must have left it on the Trolley we were certain it was gone for good. But we called Old Town Trolley and told them what happened. They asked us to identify the wallet and then let us know that Bert, with an 'E', found the wallet and had turned it in. We went to their Trolley garage, and picked up the wallet, all of her cash inside. They refused a cash reward, and just wanted to make sure everything was OK with us.
This was just a truly amazing trip and then capped off, by realizing the company and Bert & Kelly were such good people!!! I would have written a great review for this event without the finding of the wallet. If you are in Nashville and would like to learn a little Nashville history, while being entertained I highly recommend the Nashville at Night Trolley Tour!! (With Bert & Kelly)
