Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

A group of adventurous ladies set out on a rafting trip down the Lower Gauley. What a thrill! We were all beginners and Kevin took excellent care of us. We had an unexpected change of plans due to the New River water levels but WV Adventures handled everything professionally and made the trip extremely memorable. The lunch by the river was wonderful and the experience we had was beyond compare. Everyone should take the Lower Gauley trip! WV Adventures takes the time to properly prep and outfit you and then make sure you get what you paid for... an amazing whitewater rafting trip. Go with them... they're great! I'm definitely coming back for more.

Garrett, Kevin, and Tennyson gave my family a memorable whitewater rafting adventure. Very knowledgable about rafting safety (appreciated it!), helpful at all times, and fun guys who love rafting the river. Brandi was pleasant doing the drop off/pick ups. The crew gives personalized service those big companies can't give. Owner Rob was nice to deal with when booking, and told me what we should wear/bring; important because we were on a driving trip from another state. Would definitely come back!

Don't always judge a book by its cover! Although the camp wasn't all shine and new like the BIG operations in the rafting area, these boys make up for in customer service and personal touches! My family of six wanted only a half day on the new river! So I sent out a few emails to difference outfitters! Rob responded immediately and was more that willing to help out! Our guide Brett was AWESOME! He calmed our one daughter almost immediately and treated us like family....not a number! Even went out of the way to stop at horse stables to get info and got phone numbers for other things to do in the area! They just rocked!
