Lunch option available Monday - Saturday.
Brunch option available Sunday only.

The boat boards at 11:00am and 2:00pm and departs promptly at 11:30am and 2:30pm. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to boarding.

Of course we had to do a steamboat tour down the mighty Mississippi River! We enjoyed a lunch tour, complete with a Dixieland jazz band playing. They encourage folks to explore parts of the boat as well to see how the engines work which was interesting. There is an organist sitting atop the boat playing music prior to boarding. The first time I heard “When The Saints Go Marching In” during our visit was while approaching the boat. The catfish was surprisingly delicious. Both the jambalaya and the red beans & rice was also good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the spoon bread (creamy cornbread) and I’ve never liked bread pudding but I can see why others would enjoy it.

Great experience. Would recommend at least once in your life to know what it was like in the past to travel on a steamboat with an extensive history.
