Really enjoyed having an open topped van to travel in through the city that came to you and reduced the need to walk long distances. The stops at Statue of Liberty, Empire State building and 911 outdoor memorial were highlights of the tour. The bus had USB outlets at every seat so it was easy to charge phones between attractions. We were allowed to leave our gear on the bus in between stops so bring extra water and leave it on the bus. But, your tour guide is the glue that pulls it all together and unfortunately, David was nice, but felt the need to put too much of himself into his comments during the tour. We were not on this tour to get his opinions, we were on the tour to get some highlights about the city. In summary - great tour, check reviews for your guide before getting on the bus.

Had a great time on our Sprinter tour. Our guide Avi was very knowledgeable and shared lots of details about buildings, neighborhoods, and city history as we drove from place to place. Having the open top on the van was cool—like riding in a big convertible. Lunch was a bit early but tasty—traditional Italian fare and plenty of it for a reasonable extra fee. Would have liked more time at the Statue of Liberty to relax a bit. We had only an hour there, but still enough time to see it and appreciate it. My hubby and I almost ditched the last stop—9/11 Memorial—as we had seen it and the museum the day before. But glad we didn’t, as Avi showed us some stuff we missed the day before. Nice small group tour experience.
