If you use the hop on, hop off bus, simply don’t get off. Get a complete tour via the loop. As soon as you get off, you won’t be able to get back on. After visiting the Statue of Liberty, my family lined up at your pick up point at Stop 12. There were no representatives from the bus company as advised and simply no buses available to return us to Times Square. We waited from 3:45pm yesterday. One hour passed before the next bus arrived. By this point, there were approximately 100+ people waiting to board. He had 5 seats available. The staff on board were rude and inconsiderate. The next bus arrived, but it was utter chaos. There were no queues, people everywhere pushing and shoving, wanting to get on. The lady in the wheelchair was ignored by the first bus. The second bus driver was irrational and irate. We was having a tantrum and would not listen to anyone and didn’t think that wheelchair access warranted any special consideration. My family waited for 90 mins before we finally got onto a bus. However there were still over 100 people waiting. Some were yelled at, others faced demeaning comments made by staff. They were patronising and condescending. I would have expected the bus company firstly to fulfil its obligations by having a shuttle every 15 mins pass by as promised when they sold us our 3 day tickets. Secondly, logic should prevail. Send several empty shuttles at this time to pick up the hundreds of people waiting. It is after 5pm and the people are frustrated and wanting to return as the last of the shuttles were operating. The bus driver we were with was driving erratically, beeping that horn relentlessly and braking hard. He was cursing and clearly not impressed with the situation the bus company had put him in. He finally pulled over several blocks from Times Square and ceased operation. Everyone was told to get off the bus. To be fair, the other bus company had similar issues, but they did have regular buses passing by. More thought needs to go into the picking up of passengers, especially in the afternoons. Or is it simply a case of them not caring about the welfare of their passengers because we are tourists? Personally, I would not recommend this Big Bus service to anyone. Extremely disappointed

Please know that we can not speak out in favor of competition, as we follow our routes set out for us by the Transport Department.of New York. As for staff behavior, we don't tolerate the conduct you've witnessed with our staff. Outstanding customer service is a top priority, and we trust every worker to handle each guest with the highest kindness, competence and appreciation. All bus operators are qualified and certified to run Double Decker buses, as well as being mindful of all relevant groups, our passengers ' security is a top priority and we'd appreciate a name, description, tour date, time and location to [email protected] as it is communicated to higher management immediately. At Big Bus, we care about all of our customers as we pride ourselves on operating a compassionate and respectful business, anything less that goes against our core values. This was a joke we have waited for 2hours to get on the bus at the Empire State Building the bus we on as a film on the side of the window so can’t take photos or see propley If I was to recommend a tour bus it would be the city bus they was plenty coming with plenty of seats on Total waste of two hours of our short time in this city And to top it off my ear piece didn’t work so might aswell just been on a normal bus !!!

We do understand that your time is limited, although our tours face a high volume of visitors, we do our utmost to track demand and prepare for an increased number of buses at peak times to avoid overcrowding and long wait times. Unfortunately, wait time depends on traffic and detours, which we do not control, and due to the holiday season, we have been experiencing gridlock traffic and detours. Please know we cannot speak for the competition, as we follow our routes set upon us. We hope that these delays are not too much of an inconvenience, as we work hard to move around and still give our passengers the opportunity to explore. As for the advertisements on the windows, they are placed with guests ' vision in mind, and if you have been compromised in any way, we offer our most sincere apologies.
