Alex was great - very engaging & knowledgable. Highly recommend this tour. Tip: don’t eat beforehand, you sample a lot of food on this tour!

I just moved to Brooklyn a couple of months ago from Manhattan and took my parents on the BK Neighborhood Eats tour led by Sasha. We were lucky to have such a bright sunny day to fully appreciate so many of the downtown Brooklyn neighborhoods with their historic brownstones mixed in with some more modern row houses. We sampled a wide variety of food and drink at local shops and restaurants that were a nice mix of older and newer businesses and a nice mix of different cultural cuisine. Sasha was a great guide and was super knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and positive! The 3 hour tour was just the right amount of time to get in a nice amount of walking (no hills, despite the neighborhood names that include "hill" and "heights") with short breaks for food sampling. We started in Boerum Hill (a short walk from many subways and finished in Carroll Gardens (close to the BQE but only close to the F/G subway). I highly recommend taking a tour if you're looking for way to explore a new neighborhood in a friendly environment!

A lovely late Spring day spent walking thru Brooklyn with our guide, Sasha. What an enthusiastic guide with wonderful food stops a long the tour. Each bakery or store had their own story to tell along with yummy samples for all of us. It's a 3 hour tour that ended with us knowing we would revisit these stops at a later date. Thanks for a great afternoon Sasha!
